Peninsula Community Wooden Kayak Project

LOCATION: Redfish Kayak Shop and Northwest Maritime Center

Port Townsend's new Northwest Maritime Center and Redfish Custom Kayaks invite the public to participate in the construction of a cedar-strip wooden kayak. Learn new skills and become a part of the Peninsula's wooden boat building community.

This will be an ongoing project with sessions scheduled for every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6 - 8 PM. Until the Maritime Center boat shop is up and running, the first few sessions will be held at the Redfish Kayak Shop at 153 Otto St. in the Glen Cove Industrial Park.

There is no charge to participate in this program.
